There is no shortage of institutional capital, and no shortage of businesses worth lending it to. What is missing is the plumbing between them. There is no shortage of AI either, only a shortage of places a law firm or a hospital can safely put its own files.
Animosus takes positions in businesses that build the missing piece. Some of that work is software and some of it is a herd on the Free State highveld. The test is the same either way: find where the chain breaks, then go and make that link.

A commercial Beefmaster herd on the Free State highveld. The breed is selected on six things and nothing else: fertility, weight, conformation, milk production, hardiness and temperament. There is no colour standard and no cosmetic class, because Tom Lasater took those out of the equation in the 1930s and the breed has been better for it since.
A cow that does not wean a merchantable calf does not stay. It is the least sentimental business in the group, and the one that keeps the rest of it honest.

A company that describes a venture before it exists is telling you how it will describe the rest of them. This section will fill in when there is something true to put in it.
How the group operates
Without a purpose you cannot have a strategy. You can only have a list of activities.
So every business here answers one question before it is allowed to answer any other: what does it make possible that was not possible before? A firm that can finally use AI on the files it could never upload. A farmer who gets working capital without six parties in the middle. Once that answer holds, the strategy mostly writes itself, and the golden thread runs from the purpose all the way down to what someone does on a Tuesday morning.
The group takes positions it can work inside. If the only available role is watching a quarterly pack arrive, it is not for us.
Trading around a broken chain is somebody else's business model. Build the link that is missing and the economics stop being a fight.
